Steve has been in the plumbing industry for over 25 years, working in both domestic and commercial environments. With a wealth of experience in both sectors, and incorporating his plumbing business, Weaverside Plumbing, Steve founded Mucky Paws Dog Showers alongside his wife, Laura.
After installing one at their home to keep their dogs (Bentley the golden retriever and Kyla the long-haired German Shepherd) clean after muddy walks in the woods, Laura suggested that the shower could be marketed commercially, and it has proved to be a great success.
“Laura said that her friends had seen the shower and that it was a fantastic idea. We came up with the name and the rest is history!! Mucky Paws Dog Showers was born!”
Working hard to streamline a practical, affordable product, they launched in May 2024 and have since installed the showers all over Cheshire, Staffordshire and South Manchester. They launched the single Warm water tap in September 2024 which has provided a space saving alternative to the shower.
They live in Cheshire with their lovely dogs, and their children.
